This allows us to identify any potential faults in the line whether it is a faulty joint or tree roots we can pinpoint the location and use our locator given ourselves a better understanding of what is going on underground. Instead of having to excavate the entire line which could save you money in the long term. This should be done before buying a house to check the condition of the drains or if there has been blockages in the past. Depending on how the access is for the drain the camera can be effectively used without having to dig up any ground as their would be an inspection point above ground near the vent.
